Universal Orlando is seeking an experienced and skilled Audio Visual Systems Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of audio and visual systems across the resort, including projection systems, laser systems, and network systems.

As an AV Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual inspections and preventative maintenance on all audio and visual equipment. This will include testing, cleaning, replacement, verification, and calibration of applicable control circuits and systems.

You will also be required to diagnose system failures and provide immediate and long-term corrective actions to improve operational reliability, safety, and serviceability of Audio/Visual equipment, projection equipment, laser systems, and network equipment.

Additional responsibilities will include providing data entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), logging completion of inspections, corrective actions, and/or repairs made while listing parts required to implement the repairs. You will also need to complete hard copy P.M.'s and physical logbook entries as appropriate, and follow the correct chain of command to notify appropriate management when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or GED, as well as 5-7 years of experience in the field. A degree in electronics or electrical engineering is preferred, but not required. The candidate should also possess knowledge of audio and video theory, as well as practical training and experience.

We offer a competitive compensation package to our successful candidates, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
