Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Hogan Lovells US LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Miami. As a key member of our Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment (LAE) practice group, you will provide critical support to lawyers throughout the entire litigation process.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain correspondence and discovery, supporting hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings.
  • Assist with document retrieval, review, organization, and production.
  • Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable state and Federal rules for filing with court.
  • Cite-check and edit legal documents.
  • Maintain a database of client advisories.
  • Conduct legal research and write concise memoranda to summarize results.
  • Organize and prepare exhibit lists and/or privilege logs.
  • Coordinate with the Advanced Client Data Solutions team on initial case consultation and data management.
  • Ensure all vendors engaged are in compliance with the firm's security protocol, conflicts, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements:
  • Two (2)+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Working knowledge of litigation support data applications and databases, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department setting.
  • Experience with electronic discovery support, including coordination of vendor and data management for both in-house and web-based database platforms from data collection through data production.
