Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are properly indexed and accessible.
  • Coordinate and manage the discovery process, including the collection, review, and production of documents.
  • Prepare and manage trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of deposition summaries and trial notebooks.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and procedures
