We are seeking a skilled Certified Patient Care Associate to join our team at Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute. This vital role is an opportunity for professional growth and advancement in a collaborative environment.
About the Role:
This Certified Patient Care Associate will work on an interdisciplinary team, providing patient care and support with opportunities for development and advancement. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes and be dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive culture within the team.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient care responsibilities, considering needs specific to the standard of care. This includes morning and evening care, such as personal hygiene and comfort measures. The Certified Patient Care Associate will also assist with meal service and patient feeding if necessary, anticipate and respond to patient needs, making rounds to assigned patients, and assist with treatment procedures while reporting changes in patient condition.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must hold CPR/BCLS Certification and have a minimum six months' experience in an acute or long-term facility. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
