Position Overview:

This role is essential in assisting the Assembly and Warehouse teams with the timely reception and distribution of parts and materials. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping various components using small package carriers and freight services to destinations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the packing, labeling, and distribution of products to and from both internal and external sources.
  • Possess knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and required documentation.
  • Generate shipping labels and documents using our ERP system in conjunction with UPS/FedEx software and other online platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Provide necessary weights and dimensions to support staff and obtain freight quotes when required.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the organization on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Review pick lists, verify product availability, and confirm shipment details prior to processing orders in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the receiving, storing, issuing, and delivery of equipment, tools, and supplies, including inventory control and stock counts.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by weighing, counting, and measuring items against invoices or packing slips.
  • Carefully wrap and label products to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Unpack items received from crates or containers, inspecting for any damage or defects.
  • Move inventory within the warehouse using various mechanical equipment as needed.
  • Occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport supplies and materials as instructed.
  • Securely pack mixed merchandise to guarantee safe delivery of goods, utilizing appropriate packing materials.
  • Engage in kitting and picking components for assemblies and machine builds.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure critical orders are processed and packed in a timely manner for daily pickups.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and assist in cross-training other employees.
