About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Education Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of education programs for our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new hire orientations and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new staff members.
  • Develop and implement education plans to meet the needs of our clinical staff, including competency assessments and skills education.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to identify education and competency needs of clinical staff.
  • Educate and present in formal classroom-style events or informal group or individual sessions to facilitate learning and development.
  • Participate in committees and projects as identified by leadership to contribute to the development of our clinical education programs.
Requirements
  • MSN or related field required.
  • RN, State of Ohio licensure required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an RN required, pediatric experience preferred.
