Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication among team members.
- Develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and staff satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring optimal resource allocation and fiscal stewardship.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community partners, promoting a culture of patient-centered care.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland.
- BSN degree or BSN agreement with degree achieved within 5 years from the start of the position.
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and/or other appropriate certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical area of practice, with a focus on operating room nursing.
- Achieve certification in area of appropriate clinical specialty after two years of clinical experience or within 1 year in Charge nurse role.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
