Estimated Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on national averages and location considerations.
Job Description
As a registered nurse with TalentBurst, Inc, you will be providing direct and indirect patient care to patients in the community. You will communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, you will perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing (and reassessing), planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions/plans of care/patient goals.
- Providing patient care based on standards of care, standards of practice, protocols, and established policies and procedures.
- Respecting each patient as an individual; providing care that fosters the patient's sense of dignity and positive self-regard.
- Providing patient/family teaching based on identified learning needs, readiness to learn, and barriers to learning.
- Collaboratively planning and preparing patient/family for discharge incorporating support systems/resources as necessary.
- Appropriately delegating and supervising nursing interventions performed by others.
- Appropriately prioritizing patient care (e.g., seeking assistance as needed from appropriate resources, reassigning personnel as necessary, recognizing need for emergency intervention, etc.).
- Providing thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all pertinent data, therapeutic interventions, and patient responses, including assessment, care plan, patient goals, and interventions according to established standards.
- Providing timely and thorough transfer of nursing care on assigned patients to other healthcare team members to ensure integration of services and continuity of patient care.
- Assuming accountability for remaining current regarding standards of care established by the profession, regulatory, and accreditation bodies and hospital policies and procedures.
- Promoting learning for colleagues and self (e.g., functioning as preceptor, instructor, trainer, attending professional development programs, etc.).
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and current nursing registration in Pennsylvania/compact state required.
Demonstrated clinical competence in the specialty area of nursing practice is preferred, along with BCLS and ACLS/BLS certifications.
Additionally, you should have experience working in home health settings with 2+ years of experience in home health.
Able to conduct 5-6 patient visits per day and have Oasis/Case Management experience required.
