Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ABA therapy sessions as specified in the client's personalized treatment strategy.
  • Accurately collect and document data regarding client advancement during each session.
  • Employ evidence-based methodologies to instruct and enhance communication, social, and adaptive abilities.
  • Work alongside the supervising BCBA to modify treatment strategies based on client development and data insights.
  • Engage in team discussions and training opportunities to continually enhance therapeutic expertise and knowledge.
  • Ensure a secure, nurturing, and encouraging atmosphere for clients throughout therapy sessions.
  • Effectively communicate with clients' families and caregivers about progress and any pertinent updates.
  • Uphold confidentiality and comply with ethical standards and professional guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, ideally in an ABA context.
  • Strong grasp of ABA principles and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to gather, analyze, and report data accurately.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional growth and training.
  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred, or a commitment to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.
