About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join its dynamic multi-disciplinary team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans through comprehensive assessments and standardized tools.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create cohesive treatment plans and strategies that promote optimal outcomes.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as co-treatments with other disciplines as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, considering individual sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
  • Facilitate functional and engaging experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Design strategies and supports to facilitate communication across settings.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Implement programming that addresses all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
  • Contribute to program development and education of patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • A current and unrestricted license and/or certification required to practice within the clinical domain, with the ability to obtain cross-state licensure as needed.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning, with an appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

The base pay range for this role is $80,622 to $100,777, with compensation adjusted based on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
