We are seeking a skilled CT Rad Technician PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Hanover. As a CT Rad Technician PRN, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality CT images of patients, following established scanning protocols, and exercising your ability to adjust protocols as required.
Responsibilities- Obtain quality CT images of patients
- Follow established scanning protocols and adjust as required
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self
- Operate CT scanner safely and competently
- Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech
- Rendere patient care in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and performing biopsies
- Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to HIPAA Policy and Procedure
- Complete and maintain personal educational requirements
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT - CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 1 Year as a CT Tech experience Preferred
