Responsibilities

You will conduct thorough examinations, interpret physician referrals, gather patient history, and perform tests and measures to identify problems. You will establish individualized short- and long-term goals for each patient's episode of care, utilizing evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals and adjust treatments as needed for efficient progress.

Qualifications

  • Must possess valid Illinois licensure or be eligible, along with CPR certification.
  • Graduation from an approved APTA school of physical therapy is required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing various therapeutic maneuvers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and interact compassionately with patients.
