Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at Quincy Medical Group, your key responsibilities will include evaluating and managing dysfunction to enhance physical and functional abilities. You will conduct thorough examinations, interpret physician referrals, gather patient history, and perform tests and measures to identify problems. You will establish individualized short- and long-term goals for each patient's episode of care, utilizing evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals and adjust treatments as needed for efficient progress.
Qualifications
- Must possess valid Illinois licensure or be eligible, along with CPR certification.
- Graduation from an approved APTA school of physical therapy is required.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing various therapeutic maneuvers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and interact compassionately with patients.
