We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our team at Somewhere, a leading digital marketing agency in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for client websites.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with broader marketing goals.
  • Analyze competitor landscapes to identify strengths and weaknesses for informed decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure cutting-edge strategies.
  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, indexing issues, and website speed problems.
  • Work with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations for optimal performance.
  • Ensure mobile-friendliness and responsiveness across all devices.
  • Craft compelling meta descriptions, title tags, and header tags for improved click-through rates and ranking.
  • Optimize content for search engines and user experience, leveraging internal linking and semantic markup.
  • Identify content opportunities for ranking for high-volume keywords.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and target keywords.
  • Develop and execute effective link-building campaigns to build website authority and trust.
  • Secure high-quality backlinks from relevant websites and platforms.
  • Monitor and manage online reputation and brand mentions.
  • Set clear SEO goals and metrics for success.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools to track performance and measure impact.
  • Generate insightful reports to stakeholders demonstrating the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as an SEO specialist or similar role.
  • Proven track record of success in improving organic search ranking and traffic.
  • Deep understanding of Google's SGE updates, EEAT Guidelines, SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical SEO issues and identifying website performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve.
