Service Writer

At Bruckner Truck & Equipment, we're looking for a skilled Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and convey this information onto the repair order.
• Document all necessary information to properly diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Provide supporting documents to determine warranty coverage and open campaigns.
• Acquire customer approvals, provide estimates, and book & close all service tickets.
• Assist with closing other repair orders as needed.
• Answer incoming service phone calls and maintain product knowledge as the Liaison between the Service Department and the customer.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
• Ability to pass a physical, including a drug test, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Essential ability to climb around, on, and under trucks to properly inspect and diagnose all types of problems and repairs.
