Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Location: Florence, KY

Pay: $20.91/hr + shift differential

Shift Information: Weekend day shift available (shift differential pay)

Position Overview:

Forklift Operators are accountable for the physical movement and computer system transactions for all materials in the manufacturing warehouse and production/pre-weigh areas. This includes receiving incoming vendor deliveries, verifying receipt quantities and related documentation, completing all computer entries using L'Oreal's warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet), and completing all associated paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Receive and verify incoming vendor deliveries, including quantities and documentation.
  • Complete computer entries using L'Oreal's warehouse systems (SAP and Flexnet) and associated paperwork.
  • Train temporary staff in safety and quality procedures.
  • Investigate anomalies with inventory movements, receipts, etc. using computer inventory system.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment including operating a forklift preferred.
  • Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift 50 lbs for the duration of the assigned shift.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Physically and logically move all components or chemicals as required to support manufacturing and processing.
  • Receives incoming vendor deliveries, verifies receipt quantities & related documentation.
  • Load finished good pallets onto trailers following trailer safety guidelines & ensuring accurate scanning to proper destination.
  • Complete cycle counts as required.
  • Train temporary staff in the areas of Safety & Quality.
  • Investigate anomalies with inventory movements, receipts, etc. using computer inventory system.
