Director of Advancement, Athletics and Recreation

About the Position
We are seeking a Director of Advancement, Athletics and Recreation to join our team at Miami University. As a member of our advancement team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our fundraising goals and supporting the growth and success of our athletic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive fundraising effort to grow annual support for intercollegiate athletics.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase personal involvement and financial commitment from alumni and friends.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including athletic department staff, coaches, and student-athletes.
- Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least three years of experience in fundraising, sales, business development, or comparable work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
