Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for allergies and medical conditions, and updating patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medication lists, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy tech license in the state of IL or eligibility to apply for a license on the first day.
- Preferred: CPhT certification or eligibility to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and patient care.
