About the Cardiology Department

The Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is staffed by a compassionate and experienced team of nurses, technologists, and nuclear medicine technologists with over 150 years of combined experience in cardiology. Our goal is to provide precise, thorough, and efficient diagnostic cardiac catheterizations to ensure the best possible treatment for our patients.

About the LPN Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care, including rooming patients daily, taking manual blood pressures, O2, weight, and heart rate. The LPN will also be responsible for medication reconciliation, obtaining test results, and collaborating with providers to generate orders or phone calls to patients.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an LPN nursing program with a current or pending Colorado nursing license
  • BCLS certification on hire
  • Experience in a clinic setting is preferred, but training will be provided
  • Knowledge of basic ECG strips is helpful
