About Pulmonology

Pulmonology is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders related to the lungs and respiratory system. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a range of pulmonary conditions.

About the Career

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a vital role in our Pulmonary Clinic, providing direct patient care and working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Rooming patients daily, including manual blood pressures, oxygen saturation, weight, and heart rate
  • Medication reconciliation and attention to detail
  • Obtaining test results and collaborating with providers to generate orders or phone calls to patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A graduate LPN nursing program and current or pending Colorado nursing license
  • Experience in a clinic setting is preferred, but we will provide training
  • Basic ECG strip knowledge is helpful
  • Computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records
  • BCLS certification required on hire
