Job Title: Prep Cook

Caraluzzi's Markets is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team in the Prepared Food area. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in helping customers with meal solutions for their everyday needs, special events, and parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh ingredients to meet demands, ensuring they are ready for cooking.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by waiting on customers at the service counter, answering questions, and providing meal suggestions.
  • Package and replenish product as needed.
  • Assist customers with their catering and entertaining needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous culinary, cooking, or food preparation experience.
  • Knife skills, including dicing and chopping.
  • Preferable degree in Culinary Arts (although not required).
  • Positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
