Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Safety Specialist, your primary focus will be on ensuring patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician's plan of care. Your duties will include:
  • Initiating, developing, and implementing intermediate nursing plans of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
  • Assessing patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit through health data access and patient interview, re-evaluating patient needs through physical reassessment, response to therapy, and supplemental physician orders.
  • Providing training and mentorship to Infusion Nurses I's as needed to ensure patient safety and compliance.
  • Effectively communicating with Option Care's Clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families/caregivers to facilitate continuity of care.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • An active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Current CPR certification required.

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs):

We welcome applicants with:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees granted by accredited schools of nursing.
  • 1-2 years of previous infusion nursing experience preferred.

Salary:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $49.50-$82.50 per hour, commensurate with education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
