Key Responsibilities

  • Design personalized workout plans tailored to each member's fitness aspirations.
  • Lead pre-structured training sessions for groups of 1 to 6 participants.
  • Continuously observe and assist members to ensure correct exercise techniques are followed.
  • Guide clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of various fitness equipment.
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets for personal training as set by the management.
  • Participate in weekly team discussions to enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize body composition analysis tools and interpret the results effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to boost membership enrollments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment.
  • Stay updated on certifications, ongoing education, and emerging trends in the fitness industry.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in personal training.
  • Certification as a personal trainer from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA).
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of fitness methodologies, endurance training, strength training, and program development.
  • Excellent coaching and time management skills, with the ability to motivate multiple clients in a group setting.
  • Aptitude for coaching individuals of varying fitness levels.
  • Physical capability to perform aerobic activities for the duration of classes and to lift weights up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales.
  • Background in semi-private or small group training.

Employment Type

  • We are seeking both part-time and full-time trainers.

Compensation

  • Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage along with performance-based bonuses and commissions.
