Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and root planing, gingivitis scaling, and prophylaxis, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assessment and Education: Perform comprehensive periodontal charts, medical history assessments, and caries risk assessments to identify patient needs and provide personalized education and treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning and Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring coordinated patient care and optimal results.
  • Patient Interaction and Communication: Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner, addressing their concerns and questions while providing clear and concise information about their treatment plans and progress.
  • Documentation and Infection Control: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures, adhering strictly to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and sterile working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • License and Certifications: Valid state dental hygiene license, CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and Laser Certification (where required).
Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate between $55.00 per hour.
