Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the laboratory, ensuring efficient task coordination and employee performance management.
- Lead and implement projects while ensuring adherence to laboratory standards and regulations.
- Assess patient care quality and staff productivity to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Monitor and analyze financial metrics, contributing to the development of operational policies.
- Serve as a technical expert and manage staff scheduling effectively.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- A minimum of five years of technical experience in a laboratory environment, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Possession of valid professional certifications such as Blood Bank Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist is necessary.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Must meet specific vision and hearing requirements.
- Proficient in keyboard usage and data entry.
- Compliance with state-specific licensure requirements is mandatory.
