Bachus & Schanker, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and organized Workers Compensation Paralegal to join our team in Englewood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients in the area of workers' compensation law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including client contact information, medical records, and case-related documents.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing court documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals.
  • Conduct research and gather information relevant to cases, including medical records, witness statements, and expert opinions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other law firms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve case outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives, including meeting deadlines and achieving case resolutions.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a law firm setting, preferably in workers' compensation law.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with case management software and other legal technology.
