Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Telemetry RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week with rotating shifts, including nights.
  • You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify health issues, and develop personalized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to prioritize patient needs, create and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
  • Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address patient and family concerns, recognizing limitations and prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.

Baylor Scott & White Health offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.
