Job Title: Data Scientist

About the Role:

The Data Scientist will be working on UI/UX and data visualizations, statistical modeling, and data processing and applying machine learning concepts. The Data Scientist will support the road-mapping, design, and development processes, collaborating with teams to deliver high-impact data solutions. Also, the Data Scientist will provide thought leadership in aligning technology strategies with customer needs and industry trends, contributing to both current and future plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and development of user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX), with a focus on intuitive data visualization solutions.
  • Implement statistical models and data processing systems in alignment with customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on road-mapping and system design, ensuring scalable and effective solutions.
  • Utilize Python and SQL to process, manipulate, and analyze data, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Assist in the development and testing of critical system components and features, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Apply industry-specific knowledge and thought leadership to inform customer projects and future planning, particularly related to information technology.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver on customer objectives and project milestones.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on UI/UX, data visualization, statistical modeling, and data processing.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL for data handling, analysis, and system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop user-friendly and effective UI/UX designs, particularly in data visualization contexts.
  • Solid understanding of statistical models and how to apply them to business and data challenges.
  • Experience in data processing and developing efficient data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting system design, road-mapping, and critical development tasks.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
