Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main liaison for various risk-related issues within William Buck Group.
  • Work closely with the Chief Risk Officer and Focus Group Leaders to enhance our risk management frameworks and procedures.
  • Supervise quality management monitoring systems in accordance with ASQM1 and APES 320 standards.
  • Provide expert advice on the application of Independence Policy and oversee compliance declarations.
  • Support non-assurance service teams by developing guidance and conducting training sessions.
  • Manage risk registers, compliance assessments, and policy evaluations.
  • Extend general assistance to the Chief Risk Officer.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of training programs to foster a risk-aware culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Demonstrated risk awareness and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
  • A proactive approach with a strong desire to learn and inquire.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 5 years of experience in professional services or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and organizational controls.
  • Familiarity with the standards set by the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board (APESB).
  • Citizenship or permanent residency in Australia or New Zealand.
