Job Title: Physician

Job Summary:

TEEMA is seeking a Physician to provide direct primary medical care to patients and supervise medical care personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric medicine and the ability to work with a frail or elderly population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical assessments for new referrals.
  • Perform interval history and physical exams for established participants.
  • Evaluate and treat participants with episodic illnesses.
  • Make referrals to Medical Specialists as necessary.
  • Admit participants to the hospital when appropriate.
  • Oversee the care of participants residing in nursing homes.
  • Engage in family conferences for care planning and implementation.
  • Document participant changes accurately in medical records.

Requirements:

  • Valid MD license in good standing to practice medicine in the State of NJ.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience required.
  • Experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
