  • Work with IT to maintain and enhance the scheduling software.
  • Act as a resource for appointment schedulers facing patient-related challenges.
  • Generate and analyze reports on scheduling trends, patient feedback, and operational outcomes, providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Manage various reporting tasks including daily, weekly, and on-call reports.
  • Coordinate the monthly on-call schedule for physicians and ensure timely updates.
  • Compile information for after-hours scheduling and distribute to relevant staff.
  • Oversee Televox reporting.
  • Arrange for ASL interpreter services and manage associated costs.
  • Maintain a record of physician call history for scheduling purposes.
  • Monitor staff call volumes.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma is mandatory.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of medical office operations, ethics, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in database management and medical office software.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with telecommunication systems.
