POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee and manage custodial services within designated facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise and coordinate cleaning operations across various areas, including patient care zones, administrative offices, and public spaces.
2. Mentor and train custodial staff in effective cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning agents.
3. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
4. Manage the disposal of biohazardous materials in compliance with established guidelines.
5. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
6. Conduct recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of three years of experience in custodial services, ideally within healthcare or hospitality sectors.
• Proven expertise in housekeeping operations and management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in custodial work.
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office Suite and web-based tools.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• One to two years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of personnel management and labor relations, with the ability to apply sound judgment in operational matters.
• Experience in training and developing staff.
• Certification in blood-borne pathogen and sharps disposal training.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Flexibility to work varied hours and locations as required by operational needs.
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and physical examination.

COMPENSATION
• Annual salary range: $53,800 - $91,000, subject to adjustment based on appointment percentage.
• Hourly equivalent: $43.58.

Factors influencing compensation include experience, skills, education, and organizational requirements.
