Job Summary:

Marksman Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deter criminal activity and misconduct
  • Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized persons by calling police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teams
  • Makes periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
  • Prepare clear, concise, accurate reports
  • Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
  • Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications and performing in a high-pressure environment

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age
  • Alabama Unarmed Security License Preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
