We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stress Technician to join our team at TTG Imaging Solutions LLC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for cardiac stress testing procedures, assessing patient vital signs, and ensuring patient safety throughout the testing process.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures, including assessing vital signs and establishing I.V. access.
  • Set up and monitor patients through 12-lead EKG stress testing, including application of 12-lead wires and electrodes and rhythm identification and interpretation.
  • Prepare pharmacological stress agents, calculate doses, and administer as needed.
  • Initiate BCLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms and events under the direct supervision of the site physician.
  • Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality testing, accurately documenting patient test results and medical history using EMR.
Requirements:
  • Active license/certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or Medical Assistant (MA).
  • Demonstrate current competency and skills related to emergency care or paramedicine with related degree, certification, and/or licensure.
  • Active ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency care setting with experience responding to emergent cardiac and pulmonary events, EKG lead placement, and I.V. insertion.
  • Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions:

Work is performed at outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Team members must travel in all weather conditions in company vans.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for long periods of time, walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Occupational Exposure:

As a company committed to following ALARA at all times, there is limited radiation exposure during nuclear medicine procedures. Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonable anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials.
