Responsibilities:

* Provide airway care, including intubation, tracheostomy care, and clearance of airway obstructions
* Assist with patient care decision making by communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
* Apply and maintain invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems
* Draw blood samples and analyze and interpret the results of blood tests
* Assemble and troubleshoot Respiratory Therapy equipment

Requirements:

* Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Respiratory Therapy education program accredited by CoARC
* Basic Life Support Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
* New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapist License
* Basic computer skills
