Job Title: Electrical Technical Specialist

This is a temp to hire position with a competitive hourly rate of up to $29 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical troubleshooting skills to maintenance and operations to restore product flow.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to craft employees.
  • Develop and implement small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance projects.
  • Provide process engineering support.
  • Assist the maintenance department in short and long-term outage planning.
  • Assist supervisors and crafts in following up on VPM issues and items from the daily management action register.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • 5 years' experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, and TQM.
  • Experience in installing, programming, and troubleshooting AC drives, DC drives, and AB Logix5000 series Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient problem solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong maintenance background.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation including HART communications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Gas fired combustion system exposure desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications.
