Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Personal Injury Trial Attorney Manager who is dedicated to advocating for clients and ensuring their rights are protected. This role is essential in overseeing and coordinating our team of trial attorneys, ensuring they are well-prepared to manage a diverse range of personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law, insurance defense, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of four to five trial attorneys, fostering high performance and productivity.
  • Oversee the management of various personal injury cases, personally representing clients in court and delegating tasks to junior staff.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct discovery and depositions, gathering and analyzing evidence to build compelling cases.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and depositions, advocating for their rights.
  • Collaborate with the insurance defense team to effectively manage litigation.
  • Develop strategies to address litigation challenges, aiming for efficient and favorable outcomes.
  • Stay updated on changes in personal injury law, applying this knowledge to current cases and sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing trial attorneys.
  • Strong drafting skills for legal documents.
  • Experience in conducting discovery and depositions.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and software.
