About the Role

As a skilled Civil Engineering Designer at BCC Engineering, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and preparing roadway designs for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Preparation: Work under the guidance of a licensed engineer to prepare accurate roadway designs and calculations.
  • 3D Modeling Expertise: Develop 3D models of roadways using advanced software such as GEOPAK and/or Open Roads.
  • Innovative Solutions: Approach tasks with an open mindset and propose creative solutions to design challenges.
  • Report Writing and Documentation: Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer.
  • Task Management: Effectively manage multiple assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups.
  • Presentations: Confidently present proposed design solutions in internal project meetings.
  • Professional Development: Take ownership of personal career growth by seeking feedback, developing new skills, and setting goals.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 0-5 years of experience in Civil Engineering design.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
