Job Title: Lead Registered Nurse - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to join our team at Forest View Hospital. As a Lead RN, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement nursing treatment plans for patients, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver care for patients with complex needs, including co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, and trauma backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 6-12 months of previous Psych Nursing experience, with a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing theory.
  • Previous team lead/leadership experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • Demonstrates clinical competency in providing general nursing care and basic understanding of psychiatric nursing theory.
