Big Bend Woods Healthcare & Rehab is seeking a skilled MDS Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:The MDS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the fulfillment of regulations related to the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and coordinating the interdisciplinary Plan of Care. This role requires a strong understanding of Medicare regulations and the ability to review current charts to ensure documentation compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the MDS process and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel and other departments within the facility
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and personal interest in the well-being of residents
- Coordinate information with other departments when coding MDS
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
