About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) to join our team at Main Line Health. As a key member of our perioperative nursing team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons with positioning, prepping, and draping patients, as well as controlling bleeding and providing wound exposure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgical staff, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical processes.
Requirements
  • At least three (3) years of experience in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
  • RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required).
  • PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
  • ACLS required.
  • CNOR Certification.
