Job Title: Registered Nurse RN

Main Line Fertility is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse with recent OR/PACU experience to join our team.

About the Role

This is a team-centered environment that requires someone who can work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective and efficient transition from OR and PACU to release
  • Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients, stretchers, and OR tables to prevent injury to patient and self
  • Monitor patient as anesthesia wears off and evaluate patient
  • Properly communicate post-op care instructions to patient
  • Demonstrate knowledge of patient management, including being available from anesthesia during intubation and extubation, assisting as needed in sudden changes in patient condition, and being readily available to assist as directed
  • Prepare and administer medications as needed
  • IV skills preferred
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent OR/PACU experience required
  • ASN or BSN
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in PA
  • Current BLS
  • ACLS and IV Skills preferred
