Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Principal Switch Engineering Architect to join our team. As a key member of our switch division, you will be responsible for defining the architecture of our next-generation switch product lines, including Ethernet and InfiniBand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the switch architecture thoroughly across all aspects.
  • Define the implementation of sophisticated features and algorithms for our next products.
  • Work closely with software, ASIC design, verification, physical design, and platform teams.
  • Face challenging full-chip correctness and performance issues.
  • Understand system requirements and help define the product requirements of our switch product line.

Requirements:

  • B.S or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • More than 15 years of experience in ASIC development.
  • More than 7 years of experience in uArch/Arch definitions of networking ASICs.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in writing Verilog/VHDL.
  • Strong analytic capabilities and passion for solving logical issues.
  • Ability to drive complex activities involving many interfaces and teams.
  • Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in switching fabrics with strict performance requirements.
  • Experience as an HW-architect.
  • Familiar with working on large high-end ASICs.

Compensation:

The base salary range is $272,000 USD - $419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
