We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. As a Transport Nurse, you will be responsible for the safe transport of critically ill patients, working jointly with emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Complete and document patient assessments, treatments, and medication reactions as per department protocols and AdventHealth policy.
- Communicate patient updates to physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Collaborate with the EMS Director and other team members to ensure effective patient care and transport operations.
- Minimum of five years of healthcare experience, with at least three years as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Active Florida RN or ARNP license required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
