Key Responsibilities
  • Assist coaching staff in administrative tasks, including data collection and analysis, to support the growth and operations of our sports programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with various constituencies, including athletes, coaches, and staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support for recruiting efforts, including data collection and analysis, to ensure compliance with NCAA and Big 10 regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of events and activities.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data for reports on recruits and recruiting stats.
  • Travel occasionally as required to support events and activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with three to five years of experience in an athletics environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA and Big 10 regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree.
  • Experience working in a higher education or athletics environment.
