Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager, Operations is a key role within our organization, responsible for managing overall store operations and achieving company goals and directives. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire our team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware, proactively assist customers in solving problems, and ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly and courteously.
- Store Operations: Supervise the general operations of the entire store, ensure a positive and professional work environment, and assist with the implementation of Store Support Center programs.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking of merchandise, maintain back stock levels, and ensure all signage is current in the store.
- Hiring & Training of Associates: Assist in training of all associates, actively recruit and promote the advancement of Westlake Ace associates, and assist in hiring, training, scheduling, reviewing, rewarding, and coaching Head Cashiers and Cashiers.
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail management experience preferred. Hardware experience preferred.
- Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
$16 - $18 / Hour
