Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at the Fairfax Medical Campus.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to support our Imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computed tomography principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
