Computed Tomography Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at the Fairfax Medical Campus.

The Computed Tomography Technologist will administer sound patient care practices, ensuring patient safety and comfort during computed tomography procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of radiation protection and safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Administer computed tomography procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

• Certification: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support: Must obtain Basic Life Support certification upon start.
• Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography: Must obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance.
• Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist within 12 months.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
