The Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Tele unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care that is respectful and responsive to the patient's values in clinical decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive and accurate assessments of patients, including physical, psychological, and social status.
- Identify and prioritize the need for further assessment based on the patient's clinical presentation, diagnosis, care setting, and desire for care.
- Initiate discharge planning for each patient upon admission and accurately document and keep records.
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Completion of Basic EKG interpretation class upon hire
- One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility
