Position Overview

The Seasonal Operations Assistant at David Yurman provides essential administrative and logistical assistance to the Retail Store Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales transactions at the point of sale.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Support sales activities on the floor as needed to meet client demands.
  • Uphold visual merchandising and cleanliness standards in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in wrapping client purchases for a polished presentation.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of client jewelry.
  • Support the Operations team in restocking packaging materials such as bags, boxes, and ribbons.
  • Assist with the replenishment of office supplies and stationary items.
  • Facilitate the unwrapping of branded bags for efficient access.
  • Contribute to assembling promotional materials.
  • Help package and ship client orders as needed.
  • Participate in inventory assessments for office and packaging supplies.
  • Assist in identifying jewelry repairs for clients.
  • Maintain a tidy display case area.
  • Support the organization of understock items.
  • Participate in inventory audits for serial cases.
  • Ensure the jewelry cleaning area is organized and clean.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in an operational role within a customer service setting; experience in luxury retail is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to take on various roles based on business requirements.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
