Job Summary

Ninkasi Brewing is seeking a skilled Packaging Maintenance Specialist to oversee the preventative maintenance of our packaging lines, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and train line operators. This role is responsible for ensuring all packaging lines are in working order to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Maintenance
    • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance
    • Train packaging team members on maintenance procedures and protocols
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
    • Collaborate with the Packaging Supervisor to schedule maintenance and process improvement time
  • Training
    • Train packaging operators on the safe operation of packaging equipment
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with safety protocols
    • Assess the technical skill level of packaging operators and provide feedback for improvement
  • Additional Duties
    • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with changing machine specifications and training needs
    • Embody best practices and ensure proper operations
    • Communicate regularly with Ninkasi staff to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related field
Work Environment

The work environment is moderate to loud most of the time. Ear protection is available and required in some production areas.
